There are times that we tend to use our own experience to demonstrate our personalities or abilities. However, inappropriate presentation of experience turn things weird. Here is one example shared by a job search and employment expert in human resources.
- In an interview of hiring a manager in a top level finance position, the candidate suddenly took off his shirt, showing the interviewers the scars he got from a boating accident.
It is also important not to cry during interviews. As explained by an executive recruiter who worked in a consulting company, crying may lead interviewers to think that you are incapable of handling high pressure or difficult situations. It is a sign of weakness and will get you out of the employment list for sure.

Handshake is one of the most common ways to greet people. At the same time, it also conveys certain meaning about yourself.
Try to deliver a perfect shake by avoiding the followings.
Duration is also important for handshakes. Holding someone’s hands for too long will then make things awkward.
A quick shake may offend the other person as it conveys the meaning of disrespect or apathetic towards the person or the job you are applying.
b. Sweaty hands
No one loves excessive moisture. Make sure you wash your hands frequently or wipe your palm on your clothes before you go for a handshake.
A weak handshake conveyed ‘guilt, fatigue and regression’, as researched by Professor Shipps and Freeman of Ohio Wesleyan University.
On the contrary, a handshake that goes too firm can show that you are an aggressive person.
Strike a balance and use the appropriate strength.

Make sure you eat something before you go for an interview. It is hard to control our stomach from growling when we are hungry.
Even though you are really hungry, avoid eating all the candies from the candy bowl in the reception table. Put one or two power-up sweets on your bag to avoid the embarrassment!

If unluckily, you caught a cold and got a running nose, be aware that you do cover your mouth when you sneeze.
Besides, never line up the used tissue on the table. This will definitely scared the interviewer off by your ‘bacteria’!

It is always hard to be a humorous person. Don’t place jokes as the first few things to impress your interviewers.
Silence moment may result and it will be extremely hard to break it.
