DBS Bank (Hong Kong) is planning to recruit treasures relationship managers, business development executives and financial services managers. There are also openings for specialists in investment, treasury and bancassurance.
Treasures relationships managers analyse customers' financial position and provide solutions from a comprehensive choice of investment and wealth management products.
Candidates should have a degree and at least three years' sales experience in consumer banking, handling deposits, loans, investments and insurance products. They should also be qualified to carry out activities regulated by the Securities and Futures Ordinance and the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers.
The financial services manager will support wealth management products and services, while developing new business and maintaining relationships with customers.
"These positions are an entry point for a rewarding career in the consumer banking field," says Annie Ma, the bank's managing director, sales and distribution, consumer banking. "We provide ample learning opportunities, and I see many young colleagues starting off there and later moving up to a senior management role in the bank."
For candidates with less work experience, the bank has a six-month training programme that combines classroom and on-the-job learning. "We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the job," Ma says.
