The L'hotel Management Company, which already has three hotels in Causeway Bay, Tsuen Wan and Island South (below), is set to open a fourth hotel in Kwun Tong and is recruiting department heads, deputy department heads and managers - from room sales, reservations, front office and guest services, to communications and catering and event sales.
The hotel is building its pre-opening team with a view to having their soft-opening in March 2012. There are about 20 senior and mid-management positions open now, and a recruitment drive will be launched in January with another 200 jobs to be filled.
"This is a fast-growing hotel group with many opportunities for career development through job skills coaching, cross training, project management, intra- and inter-hotel transfers within the L'hotel Group," says Sylvia Chung, general manager, hotel development and operations. "It's a hotel group that expands team members' horizons via new hotel development initiatives and pre-opening project opportunities."
The company is looking for energetic people who have a genuine enthusiasm to serve both external guests and internal customers. "Our service guidelines include having the passion to serve the hotel industry, delivering service in style," Chung says.

New hires undergo a rigorous training programme in product knowledge, work safety, customer service, grooming, on-the-job skills, departmental training and ISO14001 orientation. The hotel group is active in team building and organises charity walks, outings and work-life balance activities.
