Don’t give up on valuable master’s

I am almost halfway through a master’s programme, however I’m not sure whether I should continue with it or just take the postgraduate diploma in the middle. It seemed like a good idea during the financial crisis but now I don’t see it helping much career-wise, as once you’re up to middle rank in finance it seems the more adept you are at office politics, the higher you’ll progress. Also, there’s not much networking with fellow students as we’re all too busy. Should I just soldier on, or is my time better spent schmoozing with clients?
