Edward Scott named MD of Jack Morton HK

HONG KONG: Global brand-experience agency Jack Morton Worldwide has appointed Edward Scott as senior vice-president and managing director of its Hong Kong office. Scott joins the Hong Kong team from Jack Morton in Australia, where he served as director of operations.

In his new role, Scott will oversee the agency’s strategic direction, day-to-day operations and new business development. He will report to Ben Taylor, president of Jack Morton Asia-Pacific, and work closely with colleagues in Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Melbourne.

“[Scott] is intimately familiar with Jack Morton’s global resources, culture and business. And given his experience across multiple offices and continents, he is well equipped to handle the opportunities and challenges of our growing Hong Kong practice,” Taylor said. “We look forward to having him at the helm and know he’ll do a phenomenal job of serving our clients and colleagues.”

With more than nine years in the brand-experience industry, Scott has led successful digital, change management, experiential and sponsorship campaigns for a diverse portfolio of clients, including Microsoft, Samsung, Walmart and Diageo.

Scott joined Jack Morton in 2011 as an executive producer in New York. Prior to that, he was an account director at Momentum Worldwide. He also spent seven years on the production side of the business, working for BFG Communications/Creative Events, and in the film and advertising industry in New York and Los Angeles.

Scott launched his career as a financial analyst for Morgan Stanley, an experience he credits for arming him with the project management and financial know-how to design and implement results-driven and cost-efficient solutions for clients.
