Kroll relocates Singapore-based Jason Wright to HK

BEIJING AND HONG KONG: Kroll Advisory Solutions, the global leader in risk mitigation and response, has relocated Jason Wright from Singapore to Hong Kong as an associate managing director within Kroll’s Greater China investigations practice.

He will report to Violet Ho, senior managing director for Greater China operations.

Wright joined Kroll in 2005 as a director in the firm’s Milan office and relocated to London in 2009. Before relocating to Hong Kong, he led Kroll’s Southeast Asia business intelligence practice based in Singapore.

In addition to working on numerous transactions, particularly for private equity funds, Wright has also managed investigations into major internal frauds and has provided litigation support to clients involved in disputes worldwide.

He was also on the editorial committee for a Transparency International publication focused on the implications for investors of the UK anti-bribery legislation and has worked with a number of private equity funds in assessing these risks, particularly in transactions across Asia. He has also specialised in issues related to renewable energy.

“[Wright] has an impeccable track record in Europe and Southeast Asia and joins the Greater China practice at a time when we continue to see strong demand for due diligence and investigation work across the region from financial institutions, law firms and corporations,” said Ho.

“Investment into Greater China continues unabated, and with it, we see rising demand for increasingly complex investigations. We have a well-regarded, strong practice operating as a single team across Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing and we continue to grow to meet demand,” said Wright, who has a BA in English Language and Literature from Oxford University (Scholar) and a Masters (with Distinction) in State Management and Humanitarian Affairs from La Sapienza University, Rome.
