Having become a bit jaded in my current accountancy job, I am looking to enter the job market again. I do however have a problem regarding how to present my past experience. I worked for three years at a company that was implicated in a widely reported fiscal scandal during my time there and my department was particularly involved. The company’s name is still tarnished and I am wondering if I should leave those three years off my CV. It was not an issue when applying for my current job because a manager who knew me from a previous job vouched for me. I worry though that my former employer’s toxic brand might have affected my own. What do you suggest I do?
