Ten positions up for grabs at ESF

The English Schools Foundation (ESF) is responsible for offering high quality and cost-effective education in English through its 21 schools in Hong Kong.

Ada Yeung, human resources manager at ESF, says each position requires professional and educational qualifications. Most of the teaching roles require qualified teachers who are self-motivated, have good communication skills and, for most of the positions, have excellent spoken and written English.

"Candidates should also be good team players, have a high level of integrity and be able to work efficiently and independently," Yeung says.

ESF is on a drive to fill 10 positions. These include teaching posts, such as teacher of English and head of music for King George V School, hourly language teaching for ESF Educational Services and a part-time education assistant at Quarry Bay School.

The foundation is also looking to fill openings for part-time coaching in netball, basketball or soccer, and supply teaching throughout the year.

Non-teaching positions include visual arts technician and caretaker at Discovery College, laboratory attendant at Renaissance College, and administrative assistant at The Peak School.

According to Yeung, candidates for non-teaching roles should have the necessary education qualifications and working experience, depending on the position and job requirements.Ana Wang
