Training

Lim Meng-teng
Managing director, Neo Derm Group

Importance

Neo Derm regards employees as our most essential asset, and we make a commitment to unlocking each person's full potential. Doing  this helps us to develop future leaders and, at  the same time, supports the continuous growth of the company.

Our resources include a dedicated team of training professionals. They use a combination of in-house programmes and external seminars, while also involving professionals and international experts in medical aesthetics.

Target

We arrange training for frontline therapists to develop knowledge and skills in medical aesthetic products and treatments. It is also important for them to understand best practices in customer service and consultation. Besides that, senior staff from treatment centres and our back-office team have to participate in core programmes introducing the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" and "Six Sigma" to promote quality  and excellence.

Programme

Employees can learn the seven key habits to move from the stage of dependence to independence and, ultimately, interdependence. As leaders and managers move to this final stage, they are encouraged to integrate the habits into their ongoing roles and responsibilities.

Feedback and results

By the end of the third quarter, a group of 76 leaders will have completed the "7 Habits" training programme. This is helping them create a culture focusing on employee engagement and customer intimacy. With the necessary knowledge, they will be equipped to bring about the company's vision and mission, and promote our core values of integrity, service and excellence.
