Assistant Alumni Affairs and Development Manager
Alumni Affairs and Development Office
The appointee will be responsible for managing alumni and fundraising affairs. Major duties include organising events and activities to strengthen the relations with alumni, donors and prospective donors, and managing online and offline communications. Other duties include generating reports and analysing results to facilitate the planning of various projects and initiatives related to alumni and fundraising campaigns, providing secretarial support to committees and meetings, and performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree with six years' post-qualification working experience, preferably in business administration, marketing or communication. Strong interpersonal, communication and organisation skills, and literacy in computer applications are essential. They should have excellent command of written and spoken languages in English and Chinese (including Putonghua). They should also be a self-motivated person with a strong sense of responsibility and scrupulous attention to detail. Experience in event management will be an added advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Alumni Affairs and Development Officer.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
