Client Details

Our client is a property company known for its stable and friendly working environment. The main business is property development but includes other minor business in other industries. Our client is currently hiring a Assistant Company Secretary to join and manage a team of 7-8 people and report directly to the Named Company Secretary. Office is located in Central.

Description

The Assistant Company Secretary will provide support to the company with duties including but not limited to:
  • To assist in compliance with corporate governance requirements and procedures and uphold corporate governance practices;
  • To organize and prepare for board meetings, committee meetings and shareholder meetings and draft minutes;
  • Liaise with clients, and other professional advisors and various government authorities / regulators;
  • Supervise the company secretarial team;
  • Handle ad-hoc company secretarial related assignments.


Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and attributes:
  • At least 8 years' related experience, ideally from listed companies
  • Member of HKICS or HKICPA
  • Good understanding of the requirements of Companies Ordinance is a must
  • Ability to organize well, attend to details, work under pressure
  • Positive attitude with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Good at MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
