User Services Section
The appointee will be responsible for establishing and managing strategic relationships with the University community to facilitate rendering of quality IT services. Representing the Office of Information Technology, he/she will interact/liaise directly with focused users as well as provide leadership to other Customer Services staff as they offer frontline assistance to members of the University via various channels such as hotline and the Customer Service Centre. To ensure the provision of efficient and effective services to users, he/she will be expected to develop good knowledge on the University’s I.T. service offering and build a close working relationship with other teams of the Office. In addition, he/she will also keep abreast of the latest I.T. trends and be able to make recommendations to the management on any initiatives which may enhance end-users’ experience.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline and at least six years of relevant work experience in IT service support / system implementation / project management, of which at least two years are at a supervisory level. Good IT knowledge coupling with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory. Strong analytical mind, excellent command in English and Chinese, independence, and willingness to take up challenges are essential.
