Job Responsibilities

  • Gather market information and conduct background research to facilitate effective event planning
  • Develop sponsorship package and solicit sponsors and official suppliers within commercial sectors. Drive and maximize income through sales of sponsorship; Identify and co-ordinate with stakeholders and partners to materialize agreed event components/ deliverables
  • Account servicing to sponsors for entitlement fulfillment of the mega events
  • Coordinate with internal departments / external agencies on production of event collaterals
  • Source, identify and supervise service contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery of services and procure services required in accordance to agreed scope of services and the organization's policy
  • Negotiate, liaise and co-ordinate with different teams to consolidate logistics and implementation plans of event components assigned
  • Administer all logistics and operational duties for the staging and execution of event components assigned to ensure smooth operation of such and in relation to all other event components
  • Undertake any other duties/special assignments as directed by supervisors

Job Requirements

  • University graduate preferably in Marketing / Communications / Event Management or related disciplines with minimum 8 years relevant experience
  • A proactive, responsible, detail-minded and self-disciplined team player
  • Experience in sponsorship or sales solicitation, experience in tourism industry would be an added advantage
  • Good account servicing and interpersonal skills
  • Able to deliver quality work under pressure, handle multi-tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • An excellent skill in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing is a must
  • Immediately available is preferred
