Job Responsibilities

  • Assist to develop creative event concepts and innovative core programmes for HKTB mega events
  • Assist in planning exhibition site layouts and fringe activities programmes such as luncheon, seminars and demonstrations
  • Assist to develop exhibitor mix in F&B industry and achieve stand sales/exhibition space and sponsorship
  • Source, identify and procure service companies / entertainers / performers / production companies for events staging
  • Prepare collateral write up, coordinate the collateral development and production of all event related publications, promotional and merchandise items for the best outcome in terms of event sponsorship, promotions and awareness
  • Coordinate with restaurants/restaurant trade associations / food critics / F&B consultants for planning and development for food and wine related events
  • Assist in specific aspect(s) of event staging as assigned, e.g. solicit and liaise with stakeholders/sponsor/co-op partners; process and procure license(s) / permit(s) as required, onsite supervision etc
  • Gather market information and conduct background research to facilitate effective event planning

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree holder, preferably in marketing / Event Management with at least 8 years solid experience in event management or fair organizer, from project conceptualization to materialization and implementation of large-scale outdoor events
  • Good command of written Chinese and English and attentive to details
  • Self-starter with good presentation, communication and organization skills; resources planning skills and creative thinking is essential
  • Resourceful connections with events-related partners and service vendors such as event organizers / production companies / restaurant trade associations and contractors, etc
  • Proven records of managing promotional campaign and partnership products, from line-up of participants to implementation of logistics with local restaurant trade
  • Experience in handling marketing communication materials and web pages production
  • Willing to work longer hours during event season and able to function effectively under pressure
  • Immediate available is preferable
