Assistant Manager (IT and Administration) (Ref. 16092809-IE) 


The appointee will be required to: 

(a)  provide executive support to Senior Manager to facilitate smooth running of daily operation of the Office including administration of the general office, staffing and budget/finance matters;

(b)  provide technical and IT administrative support to the Office, assist in IT system development and handle simple graphic design/adaptation;

(c)  formulate, review and execute administrative and human resources related policies as well as working procedures in the Office;

(d)  prepare and compile various departmental reports;

(e)  provide administrative support, such as collection and analysis of data, drafting of proposals and preparation of papers, etc. to the Head of the Office or her delegates;

(f)   arrange meetings and provide secretarial and administrative support to committees/meetings/ working groups, such as preparation of minutes, notes and reports;

(g)  maintain proper record of the documents of the Office, such as proposals, reports, minutes, notes and papers or policies and procedures; and

(h)  perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Office or her delegates. 


Applicants should: 

(a)  have a recognised degree plus at least five years of solid post-qualification administrative and supervisory experience, preferably gained from sizable organizations or tertiary institutions; 

(b)  have very good organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills as well as good computer literacy;

(c)  be pleasant, presentable and proactive, and must be able to formulate/implement plans independently and work under pressure;

(d)  be a good team player; and

(e)  have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, and preferably with fluency in Putonghua. 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written language proficiency test. 

Remuneration and Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.  Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
