The MSc Programs Office looks after a portfolio of specialized MSc programs at the HKUST Business School, including MSc in Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, Financial Analysis, Global Operations, Information Systems Management, International Management, and Investment Management. Students for the full-time programs are mainly fresh graduates coming from all over the world while students for the part-time programs are mainly working executives in various industries and functions in the Greater China region or Asia.
The MSc Programs Office is looking for a high caliber candidate to support the MSc in Business Analytics Program. The appointee will be responsible for all aspects of the program administration and operation of the program. Duties include, but are not limited to, supporting the Academic Director in course planning and class scheduling; coordinating with teaching faculty on course delivery; liaising with external and internal parties in classroom arrangement; providing administrative and on-site or off-site support to faculty members; acting as the student interface to manage student matters; performing daily office administration work and any other duties as assigned. The appointee will also support in the marketing and admission process of the program.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business disciplines with at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in program administration and/or in the education sector; a problem-solving mindset; an outgoing personality; the ability to work independently; a strong ability to manage multi-task work and meet deadlines, and be attentive to details. The ideal candidate should be a good team player; and possess good interpersonal and communication skills, good presentation and co-ordination skills. He/She should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Working outside normal office hours, on weekends, and overseas travels are required/expected. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Program Assistant. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
