SCHOOL OF NURSING 

Assistant Marketing Officer (Ref. 16112903)
[Appointment period: twelve months] 

Duties 

The appointee will be required to: 

(a)     provide administrative and marketing support for the events organized by the School; 

(b)     assist the Communications Manager in the event planning and execution of the School’s events; 

(c)     coordinate with different parties including the University’s internal departments and external organizations as well as handling enquiries; 

(d)     assist in the regular update on the School’s online and offline promotion channels; 

(e)     provide administrative and clerical support for the ad-hoc projects in the School; and 

(f)     perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of School or his delegates. 

The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours. 

Qualifications 

Applicants should: 

(a)     have a recognised degree, preferably in a language-related or business-related discipline; 

(b)    have at least two years of relevant working experience, preferably in marketing or event management; 

(c)     have excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing, with knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop being an advantage; 

(d)    be familiar with the use of internet and common social media platforms, preferably with knowledge of publishing and editing website content; 

(e)     have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua; 

(f)     have good interpersonal and communication skills; and 

(g)    be mature, proactive and detail-oriented. 

Preference will be given to those who are immediately available.

Remuneration
