OFFICE OF COUNSELLING AND WELLNESS 

Assistant Officer (Ref. 16112404-E) 

Duties 

The appointee will be required to: 

(a)     provide administrative support to the management of the sports team; 

(b)     assist in organising and coordinating student activities/programmes; 

(c)     prepare and produce publicity materials; 

(d)     assist in IT development and coordinate matters related to computer application systems as well as update of office webpage; 

(e)     provide secretarial support to meetings; 

(f)       liaise with internal and external bodies on activities organised by the office; and 

(g)      perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Office or his/her delegates. 

The appointee may be required to work on irregular hours, including evenings, Saturdays and Sundays, and public holidays. 

Qualifications 

Applicants should have: 

(a)     A recognised degree or an equivalent qualification plus not less than three years of relevant experience; 

(b)     an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including fluency in Putonghua; 

(c)     sound knowledge and good skills in computer applications and webpage design; and 

(d)     good communication and interpersonal skills. 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written language proficiency test.

Remuneration and Condition of Service 

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.  Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
