Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to perform outward remittance; customer account transfer transactions and provide quality services to customers
  • Approve daily transactions including pooling, internal transfer, outward remittance and ensure all transactions are executed without omission
  • Monitor customer transactions and conduct investigation; report the suspicious hit to AMLO when necessary
  • Control the delivery of funding report to Treasury Department and check the Forex Contract Slip issued by Dealer
  • Monitor the day-end reconciliation and handle irregular transactions as required
  • Perform checking to ensure accuracy on various reports to management and regulatory bodies in timely manner
  • Provide product and technical advice, business solution to customers, including  relationship managers, overseas branches and banking correspondents in supporting the Bank’s transaction business development
  • Partner with project manager to support system development, enhancement and implementation to enhance processing capacity, quality and Straight Through Processing (STP) ratio
  • Review and update existing policies and procedures
  • Provide back-up support to the inward remittance and RMB payment section and take up ad hoc project as required

 Requirements:

  • Degree holder with around 7 years’ experience in remittance with minimum 2 years’ experience in leading a team
  • In-depth knowledge in payment products and cash pooling operations, international payment standard as well as AML and anti-terrorism checking
  • Possess analytical and problem solving skills; able to make sound judgment in transaction processing flow and risk control
  • Good planning, organization, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and people management skills; able to maintain a cohesive environment with the team
  • Multi-tasking and attend to details; able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Good command of both English and Chinese
