Duties

The appointee will be responsible for the following duties:

(a)  general accounting duties including financial accounting, management accounting, budgeting, and financial management of externally-funded projects and subsidiaries;

(b)  administrative support for campus-wide facilities;

(c)  insurance administration including renewal of insurance policies and claims handling;

(d)  preparation of management reports;

(e)  general office administration; and

(f)  any other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance or her delegate.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a)  have a recognised degree in Accounting or related disciplines;

(b)  have at least two years of experience in accounting, auditing or other related fields;

(c)  have preferably passed a professional accounting examination or equivalent;

(d)  have proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Excel and Word, with solid knowledge of Oracle Financials being an advantage;

(e)  be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English and Chinese; and

(f)  have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.  Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
