- Oversee Buying operation from sales forecast to OTB
- Work with design and merchandising to ensure that line is commercially successfully in terms of product/ price
- Managing the Buying Team to achieve agreed financial target, including brand sales, gross margin and inventory level and cost to ensure agreed financial target is achieved.
- Formulating and developing buying plan in terms of category ratio and size ratio and allocate the right merchandise in right locations.
- Assuring achievement of volume, gross margin and profit goals through effective merchandise selection, buying, timing and promotion.
- University graduate in Fashion and Clothing or related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years experience in a retail or wholesale buying role from other trendy, mass market chain stores is desirable with 5 years in supervisory level
- Good understanding of supply and demands, retail operation, product cycle and fashion retail knowledge for Hong Kong market
- Excellent fashion and market sense in apparel and retail industry
- Self-motivated, passionate, with strong analytical presentation and leadership skills
- Knowledge of Fashion market / fashion sense to exploit selling opportunities.
- Strong analytical mind & sensitive to figures.
- Should have experience in China market.
- Good command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
