Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide frontline administrative support in the provision of mediation and arbitration services, including:
    • handling of enquiries
    • drafting of letters, reports, case summaries and statistics
    • vetting applications
    • liaising with parties
    • conducting information seminars
    • managing mediation and arbitration cases
  • To assist in outreach and publicity activities to promote public awareness of the FDRC and its services
  • To assist in the conduct and administration of seminars, workshops and committee meetings of the FDRC
  • To conduct research and to implement ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned from time to time 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Hong Kong university degree or equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ working experience in complaint handling, dispute resolution, social work, legal services or financial services industry
  • Accredited mediator by HKMAAL or training in mediation and / or arbitration would be highly preferable
  • Strong command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (proficiency in Putonghua would be an advantage)
  • Good research and drafting skills, able to pay attention to details
  • Solid judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Sincere, mature, self-motivated, well organized and patient
  • Good people skills and ability to meet tight timeline
  • Ability to conduct interviews with clients independently, good information gathering and reporting skills a definite advantage
  • Proficiency in PC Applications

Note

Successful applicant will be required to satisfy the training requirements of the FDRC and may need to work over-time and meet tight deadlines as necessary.
