It is planned to have 500+ beds and will be commissioned in phases starting from 2020. It will offer a range of general and specialty services including a 24-hour out-patient clinic. Key Responsibilities:
•To be overall in charge of the hospital project to ensure timely completion within budget of construction, fitting-out, and equipment procurement/installation as well as all preparations including staff recruitment and development of a business plan.
•To plan and implement the phased commissioning of the hospital including developing the clinical and all support services, and the financial operation of the hospital.
•To lead all clinical and non-clinical staff to deliver the Mission of the hospital: “Pioneering Solutions in Healthcare”.
•To report to CUHKMC Board of Directors.

Qualifications:
•A recognized university degree preferably in medical and healthcare related disciplines.
•Over 15 years of experience in managing organization with over 1,500- multidisciplinary staff.
•Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a) managing hospital construction project; b) senior executive experience in hospital management and c) collaboration with universities in medical services and research.
•Proficiency in Chinese and English.

Compensation and employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 5-year contract with a remuneration package commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
