Applications are invited for appointment as Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant) in the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least 3-4 years’ solid administrative work experience, preferably in a tertiary institution. They should also have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; as well as an appropriate level of IT skills. They are also expected to have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision; and a good sense of tact in dealing with sensitive and confidential issues, including discreet handling of personal and confidential files. Those with less experience or qualifications may be appointed as Clerk II. The appointee is expected to provide organizational and administrative support to senior administrators of the Faculty Office in various areas, which may include academic programme management, financial and human resource management, event coordination, project management, general office administration and committee servicing, and perform any other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
