Job Posting Details

The appointee will provide clerical and administrative support to the Interdisciplinary Programs Office, including secretarial support; maintenance of student records; preparation for meetings and visits; logistics support to events; general office duties such as renovation, stock taking and filing; procurement and payment; and other duties as assigned.  Working outside normal office hours will be occasionally required.

Applicants should at least have five passes including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A or level 2 if results were obtained from 2007 onwards) in the HKCEE; or 5 subjects, including English Language, attaining level 2 or above (or equivalent) in the HKDSE.  Applicants should have good PC skills in English and Chinese word-processing, spreadsheet, and database applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access; be a good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills; be motivated and have a strong sense of responsibility; be good at multi-tasking and attentive to details; be service-oriented; and be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.  (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
