CBRE Hong Kong Marketing and Communications department are looking for a Manager to join the team and drive internal and external comms for the HK business whilst enhancing the CBRE external media profile. You will have the opportunity to develop corporate and business line communications strategy and be recognised as a specialist in deliver of communications services. Key Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for all CBRE Hong Kong corporate communications, both internally and externally with direction from Head of Marcomms, HK
  • Plan and implement internal communications processes and initiatives for Hong Kong
  • Plan and implement external, media relations and client communications processes and initiatives for Hong Kong
  • Prepare and distribute regular English and Chinese press releases
  • Develop and manage strong and productive relationships with key Hong Kong and regional media contacts
  • Collaborate with Regional Marcomms team on external and internal communications campaigns
  • Track all communications initiatives, demonstrating link between activities and results, as well as CBRE's share of voice
  • Coordinate media interviews and prepare background material for CBRE spokespersons
  • Assist with coordinating and writing Corporate award submissions
  • Create and update marketing collateral as necessary
  • Ensure Head of Marketing & Communications is kept informed and involved (as necessary) with initiatives
  • Support internal and external company events as necessary
  • Effectively manage project budgets, drive vendor/agency funded activities with good negotiation and activation skills, manage supplier relationships
  • Influence culture and fee-earners so communications processes are accepted and adopted
  • Identify high-profile public speaking opportunities for business leaders to ensure high-level visibility in the market
  • Champion quality, creative copy writing and high standard copy writing delivery for media, digital, external and internal comms
  • Track and analyse activities to quantify goals and objectives to illustrate value to fee earners in the business as best possible
  • Activate distribution of CBRE content across multiple digital channels, and illustrate sophisticated use of digital platforms to magnify content
Desired skills and qualificationsTo be successful in this role candidates are required to be degree qualified with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a communications management role. Candidates must have strong communication skills and be able to influence senior stakeholders. It is necessary that candidates have strong English and traditional Chinese speaking skills. The successful candidate with be client focused and demonstrate the ability to deliver results. Candidates are required to speak English, and traditional Chinese with reading, writing and speaking skills. Strong media contacts would be an advantage.
