Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of the product and services associated with ActiveDisclosure
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in various markets in APAC as well as the United States (i.e. SEC EDGAR filing)
  • Identify and prospect new clients and qualify sales leads, coordinating as required with other APAC sales people
  • Manage a complex sales cycle, starting with the needs assessment process for each prospect, identifying pain points and determining the best fit for our compliance solutions
  • Manage and track clients, sales opportunities and forecasts with Saleforce.com, providing regular reports to management
  • Identify various buying roles within each prospect account and develop client relationships in accordance with a suitable sales execution plan
  • Arrange face-to-face meetings with prospects and existing clients across APAC
  • Educate prospects on the value of an ActiveDisclosure solution and/or “Full Service” compliance solution, and how each service will address their needs
  • Provide technical demonstrations of the ActiveDisclosure platform to clients
  • Prepare, negotiate and execute quotations, contracts and invoices with clients
  • Assist with post-sale training and on-boarding of clients, and coordinate the hand-over of new clients from sales to the deal management team
  • Work closely with Sales Management to develop an individual sales plan, and monitor progress against personal and company goals

Requirements:

  • University graduate or above
  • 3 or more years of experience delivering SEC EDGAR solutions to clients
  • Experience in delivering SEC-EDGAR filing services to clients, including XBRL
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese
  • General understanding of accounting statements and language
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on negotiation, needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Experience and comfort in working with technology solutions
  • Demonstrated service orientation with a desire to exceed customer expectations
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
  • Strong technical ability
  • Demonstrated perseverance with clients and with process implementation
  • Ability to achieve results in partnership with others
