Job Duties:

 

  • Design, develop and manage public training programmes for clients
  • Engage in business development to identify new clients while retaining existing ones
  • Formulate and execute marketing strategies to promote public training programmes to the industries
  • Review the latest training and development trends in Information Technology, Business Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management and Creative Design areas and identify techniques and knowledge that will add value to industries
  • Work with partners, trainers, industry associations and professional bodies to co-organize and promote public training programmes
  • Lead and inspire team members to deliver quality outputs and maintain high service standard
  • Support new service development and enhancement of the existing services

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor Degree with 5 years’ relevant experience in training business development and training programmes management
  • Degree from disciplines such as Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management and Design or equivalent preferred
  • Close connections with industry associations and professional bodies an advantage
  • Strong business acumen with leadership competencies
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • Well organized, proactive, outgoing, enthusiastic and result-oriented
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates. Applicants with less qualifications and/or experience will be considered for a lower rank.

 

A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
