Responsibilities:

  • Perform onsite resolution of desktop problems for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions
  • Resolve tickets within the client SLA and obtain a high client satisfaction rating
  • Install, configure, test, maintain monitor and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware & software
  • Implement performance upgrades PC / MAC, including the installation of CPUs, hard discs, hard drives, RAM, memory chips and CD-ROMS
  • Administer and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation networking software products
  • Liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors when necessary

 

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Education in IT / Computer or equivalent
  • Require 2 years experience in desktop client support or IT field
  • Excellent technical knowledge on PC / MAC and desktop hardware
  • Ability to operate tools, components and IT peripheral accessories
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation and OEM guides
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
  • Analytical and problem solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment
