Reporting to the CEO, you are responsible for:
· Providing strategic advice to the CEO and the Board on developing, managing and delivering fundraising policies and naming rights of the overall WKCD and related strategies for district-wide fundraising, sponsorship and membership;
· Setting up and leading the Development Department; supporting the CEO in the setting of annual fundraising goals and exploring new and major fundraising opportunities;
· Developing and implementing district-wide and performing arts focus work plans for cost-effective fundraising programmes and campaigns to nurture support for WKCD; and
· Working closely with the M+ fundraising team and other departments to align the overall WKCD fundraising strategies for maximizing impact and results.

The ideal candidate should:
1) possess a recognized university degree with a reputable institution, preferably with postgraduate qualifications;
2) have at least 10 years of solid experience in development and fundraising at senior executive level at a large and complex organization;
3) have a proven track record in developing and implementing development strategies and cost-effective fundraising and sponsorship programmes;
4) possess well-developed networks in Hong Kong and overseas pertinent to fundraising and sponsorship and with strong local knowledge;
5) have excellent communication and ambassadorial skills, and the ability to articulate a persuasive case.
