Responsibilities:

 

  •  Assist the Head of Industrial Estate in planning and implementing the new Industrial Estates Programme and other initiatives including revamp of admission criteria and procedures, performance monitoring and lease proforma
  • Undertake operational and administrative functions of Industrial Estates including processing of admission application, lease negotiation, preparation of legal documents for leases
  • Administer land and lease associated matters in accordance with defined business models regarding:
  • Land Matters - land and site acquisition, disposal of site and properties, change of use, land exchange and modification, etc
  • Admission and Lease Management - liaise and negotiate with potential clients, processing of admission application, preparation of board and committee papers and legal documents for leasing, licence and mortgage approval, surrenders and re-grants, etc
  • Tenancy and Facilities Management - manage tenancies and maintain Corporation’s properties in tidy and tenable conditions
  • Estates Management - maintain overall Industrial Estates in tidy and properly managed conditions
  • Assist Head of Industrial Estate to manage improvement or expansion projects of existing Industrial Estate and development of new Industrial Estate in carrying out studies, planning and implementing the works
  • Liaise with other business and functional units of the Corporation in connection with Industrial Estate and corporate functions
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Head of Industrial Estates

 

Requirements:

 

  • Professional qualification in General Practice or Building Surveying, Civil Engineering, Estate Management, Business Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant working experience gained from property developer, property consultants or statutory bodies, with at least 5 years’ at managerial level
  • Familiar with project feasibility studies, land acquisition process, change of use and land exchange etc
  • Familiar with leasing procedures and relevant legal documentation; conversant with property related laws, regulations and practices in HK would be an advantage
  • Proactive with excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Good analytical mind and strong marketing sense
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
