Summary:
  • This digital marketing manager aims to formulate, plan and manage overall team's digital strategy and execution. Analyse results of digital projects and tactical campaigns for a diverse set of business units. Successful candidate needs to be PASSIONATE towards digital technology and innovation, personally digital savvy and being a good team player.




Key Responsibilities:


  • Digital Marketing

    • Developing relevant digital marketing strategies for functional areas (Retail, Office, Residential) and specific business units within SPL
    • Budgeting for digital marketing spend and tracking ROI where expected
    • Advise business units on target customer acquisition by increasing the effectiveness of social media, online advertising and search engine marketing while identifying new growth opportunities
    • Provide strategic and creative advice to business units on display, video, web and mobile UX and design
    • Supervise and/or project manage online deliverables from our agencies and/or other vendors on key digital projects in 2017.



  • Online Media / SEM / SEO

    • Work with business units (largely retail) to plan and execute Online Media, SEM and SEO campaigns
    • Advise on keyword strategies, copy and creative
    • Constantly track, review and optimise paid and owned campaign performance
    • Assist business units on new website build projects and advise on optimal SEO to ensure the website consistently ranks highly in the leading search engines and drives traffic
    • Ongoing support to ensure current trends are reflected in the paid and owned marketing campaign activities



  • Social Media

    • Manage the team to develop social media strategy that is relevant and scalable
    • Advise functional heads and specific business units on how to deliver quality social media operation in terms of content management, performance monitoring, and key online opinion leaders outreach.
    • Work with various key business units to put proper process in place to support social media operation at the local level.
    • Help functional areas (Retail, Office, Residential) to develop social media guidelines to avoid inconsistency in quality
    • Continually review business units social media content to monitor the quality of the deliverables and performance of the campaigns for evaluation and future improvement



  • Budgeting

    • Advise functional heads and specific business units on how to optimize online marketing budget
    • Monitor budget spending against each campaign



  • Analytics

    • Manage the Digital Media Analyst on monthly web and social media analytics reports
    • Advise functional heads on how to leverage the data
    • Developing insight into the digital footprint and behaviors of current and future growth segments for the purpose of enhancing the quality of traffic delivered to digital platforms



  • Digital Expertise

    • As the subject matter expert and driver of digital marketing development for SPL, lead, evangelise, supervise, promote, educate, and solicit buy-in and support across different functional areas within the Company.
    • Plan, organize, and arrange training, workshops, seminar, or readings as appropriate to up-skill the whole marketing team to be more digitally savvy.




    Requirements:
    • University graduate
    • 5-6 years solid experience in digital marketing, of which at least 2 years is at a supervisory or management level
    • Strong project management skills and experience
    • Sound knowledge of digital marketing tools such as Salesforce (or other CRM tools), Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Adwords, Google and Baidu Analytics
    • Experience with design tools and languages such as HTML, Photoshop, Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal preferred
    • Passion and drive to initiate digital marketing learning and inspiration
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to explain technical concepts effectively to a diverse audience
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English
    • Cantonese/Mandarin is a bonus
