We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Digital Requirements Lead.

In this role, you will

  • Accountable for planning and delivery of global Requirements activity to support the definition of best in class digital channel propositions for strategic platforms including Public Website, Internet Banking and Mobile extending to future channels and devices.
  • Leadership of Requirements activity, managing drawdown scope through delivery to implementation, ensuring that all deliverables, business requirements, User Stories, Visualisations, Copy global and translation, Subscription Analysis and Configuration are managed to time and quality.
  • Accountability for management of the overall product backlogs for strategic platforms working to support the Digital centre of excellence Product Lead with cross workstream prioritisation and management and providing Subject matter expertise support to the Product Management community both within the Digital centre of excellence and wider.
  • Leadership of a team of Lead Digital Analysts who will undertake a variety of activities across the vertical in order to deliver sprint ready requirements including complex analysis activity, the role of scrum master for requirements sprints through to product analyst support during delivery.
  • Lead team in developing effective working relationships with in country digital and product Subject matter expertise to provide local input into requirements in order to ensure that the output is consumable.
  • Lead team in developing effective working relationships with engineering delivery teams through adoption of agile.
  • Accountable for benchmarking the quality of requirements output and constant review of the process to optimize this as this transitions from Programme to ongoing releases.
  • Accountability for all requirements management activity from drawdown through to delivery, including product backlog management and production of requirements plans for circa thirty people, Lead Digital Analysts, Digital Analysts
  • Lead delivery of requirements assets Business Requirements, User Stories, Visualisations, Copy global and translation, Subscription Analysis and Configuration in line with committed timescales, quality and methodology, securing Approval from stakeholders.
  • Lead, develop and motivate a team of Lead Digital Analysts to undertake requirements activity, working with market stakeholders across the globe to balance convergence with the local regulatory and competitive environment.
  • Development of Subject Matter Expertise within the operation to support the Digital Product Management community.
  • Develop robust Requirements Management discipline, underpinning analysis with data and industry best practice.
  • As part of the Digital Requirements Management leadership team contribute to the delivery of the Digital centre of excellence strategy, ensuring consistency in rollout of the Requirements Management activity across the regions.
  • Progress reporting into the overall Senior Digital Release Planning Manager and governance of requirements activity.
  • Lead role in the development of skills within the digital requirements vertical within Digital centre of excellence
  • Define People Strategy for Lead Digital Analysts in conjunction with peers across Requirements and Release Management to support the development of a robust, high performing analysis community, in line with Global Digital objectives.
  • Lead team in the transition of the requirements and delivery elements of the programme to a regular release model
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise across area of responsibility.
  • The role holder is responsible for the management of digital requirements to support customer experience.
  • The role holder will be accountable for the transition of the Requirements element of the platform from programme delivery to continuous enhancement.
  • Support and engage with cross functional and market teams with no direct line responsibility for those individuals

  • Graduate
  • Experience in leading teams with broad range of analytical skills.
  • People experience in customer focused organizations, in disciplines such as digital, technology services or change management, with leadership skills motivating and inspiring others to excel.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills to enable the management and resourcing of activity
  • Awareness of User Centred Design methodology, sourcing of customer insight and importance of customer testing.
  • Excellent understanding and experience of project methodology particularly Agile.
  • Subject Matter Expertise of channel, including technical, commercial, market place and customer considerations.
  • Strong commercial focus, ability to balance risks versus rewards and maximize cost effectiveness and profitability for the business.
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues
  • Pragmatic decision making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments based on data and insight and understand the implications.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities
  • High level of resilience and self motivation
  • Have the ability to approach things differently or do different things to deliver goals
  • Experience of process improvement and LEAN thinking methodologies
  • Respectful of different cultures, working with colleagues from across all different regions like North America, Latin America, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Europe.
