Established by the Government in 1989, The Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK) has five academic units, namely the School of Arts & Social Sciences, Lee Shau Kee School of Business & Administration, School of Education & Languages, School of Science & Technology, and the Li Ka Shing Institute of Professional & Continuing Education. Through them, we provide full-time and part-time programmes at undergraduate, post-graduate, and sub-degree levels.

The Position

The University is looking for a high-calibre professional to lead an integrated corporate communication and marketing function and develop necessary endeavours to help the University fulfil its mission and strategic objectives.  He/she is also expected to provide advice and support directly to the President on all matters relating to public affairs.

The appointee shall be responsible to the President and Vice President (Administration & Development) for leading and managing the Public Affairs Unit including strategic analysis and planning, public relations, brand building, marketing, alumni relations, donations, sponsorship and collaboration partnership, newsletters and annual reports as well as administering the Information Centre.  He/she is expected to respond swiftly to market changes, and participate in the administration of the University as a Management Board member.
