Centennial College is an independent, self-financed, 4-year degree granting institution established by the University of Hong Kong. The College aspires to be an outstanding provider of liberal arts education in the Asia Pacific region. It is an independent College established by the University of Hong Kong and is registered under the Post-Secondary Colleges Ordinance, Cap. 320 of the laws of Hong Kong.

The School of Management is supported by an endowment fund as a unit within the College to promote Management as a Liberal Art and to teach, explore and research the interplay between Liberal Arts and Management including, but not limited to, the teaching of the late Peter F. Drucker with emphasis on the concept of ‘People Management’. The School has a Management Committee, reporting to the College Council, to oversee its strategic directions. The School will also partner with like-minded institutions in promoting the Drucker philosophy.

The College is now seeking an outstanding candidate for the position of Director of the School of Management. Responsible to the President, the successful appointee will be a senior academic member of the College, holding a professorial title, and providing vision and leadership to the School as well as for the College generally.

He or she will:
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the values and principles of the interplay between management and the liberal arts
- Have full-time teaching experience at tertiary level
- Have a track record of academic leadership and vision with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Preferably have a doctoral degree in management or a related field with a strong research base and academic reputation

Terms of appointment will be commensurate with this senior post and normally on a 2-year (renewable) contract with gratuity and other benefits.
