Main Job Duties

Responsible for the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of English language learning programmes, with direct responsibilities to:

  • Develop and evaluate curriculum design and learning materials at primary and secondary levels
  • Provide on-going structured professional development for native English-speaking tutors and their supervisors
  • Lead a team of recent university graduates and managers to meet the goals of the organisation
  • Support and participate in a range of activities important to the organisation such as staff team-building, student day camps or school-based events
  • Oversee the cultural and personal development programme for the tutors and their general well-being
  • Organise and manage the delivery of community programmes
  • Collaborate with external bodies to develop and manage language learning projects

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from a recognised university
  • A TEFL/TESL qualification at least at certificate level, or equivalent
  • At least four years’ experience in teaching English at primary and/or secondary level
  • Preferably a native speaker of English or have native-speaker English competence
  • Demonstrated competence in project management, coaching and team building skills, and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent computer skills and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to connect and collaborate with a young and diverse team of English tutors and management staff
