We are looking for applicants for the position of:
Environmental Engineer II (Ref: J17005)
You will support and monitor the environmental impact assessment process and environmental management programmes for the new railway projects. You will assist in monitoring and reporting relevant parameters such as noise, radon level and air / water quality, implementing and vetting contractor's environmental management plan, as well as training construction and contractor's site staff on environmental matters. You will also liaise with relevant government authorities and interest groups. You may be required to perform duties on irregular patterns of hours.
You should have a Degree in Environmental Science or a related engineering discipline with at least 4 years' relevant experience gained in the construction industry. Experience in conducting environmental impact assessment / monitoring and audit as well as noise analysis, control and assessment is an advantage.
Appointment will be made on eighteen-month contract terms.
