This is an exceptional Executive Chef job opening with one of the fast-growing F&B groups in Hong Kong. Inviting seasoned and top-notch candidate with fine-dining and seafood experience to join as part of the F&B operations management team.

Client Details

Our client is a new and innovative F&B Group launching one of the most ambitious and prestigious fine-dining / fusion restaurants in Hong Kong with the aspiration to reach Michelin star status in due course. With a team of chefs coming from world-renowned restaurants already in place, our client is currently looking for a Executive Chef to set the direction of the menu, manage the kitchen and run the back-end operations of the restaurant so as to ensure a premium level of service it provided to the customers.

Description

Reporting to the business owner, you will lead the back-end team to build and develop the most inspiring and exclusive menu to reach the Michelin starred stage using the finest ingredients around the world. You will lead, monitor, coach and train your team to deliver the best dishes in town and bring high customers' satisfaction. You will work closely with the Restaurant manager to maintain the restaurant's daily operations. You will actively collect feedback from your guests and media to make sure the highest satisfaction and the best restaurant image is built in town. You and your team will manage the kitchen and ensure all the kitchen environment is up to the Group and Government's hygiene standards. You will source, select and negotiate with the suppliers for purchasing the best-valued food produce. You will also manage the F&B cost and P&L.

Profile

To qualify, you will have a minimum 10 years experience as Sous Chef / Executive Chef level in luxury Michelin starred restaurants or hotel groups. Candidates with specialty in fine-dining using seafood ingredients highly regarded. Knowledge in kitchen operations and hygiene standard is essential. Experience in setting up new restaurant and menu creation is a plus. You will be a masterful and skillful chef who is creative and innovative. You will also be a strong team-player who is motivated, consistent and enthusiastic in fine-dining. Fluency in English is a must.
