Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for the overall co-ordination and development of the audience development and outreach programme;
  • To act as the main focal point of contact for the audience development and outreach matters;
  • To assist in conducting field survey and research studies for audience development, including but not limited to collect quantitative and qualitative data from discussions, meetings, survey sessions with potential groups and preparation of survey findings and recommendations;
  • To liaise with Education Bureau, universities, other educational institutions and secondary schools for outreach programme; and handle enquires related to outreach programme;
  • To promote and recruit participants to attend outreach programmes from schools, other educational institutions, and youth centres ;
  • To co-ordinate with the programming, editorial, operations, and marketing teams for the development and delivery of the audience development and outreach programme;
  • To liaise with design and printing house for preparing all publicity and promotional materials for the audience development and outreach programme, such as programme leaflets to be distributed to schools and production of event backdrops;.
  • To handle all logistics required for the outreach programme, including but not limited to logistic planning, venue booking, arrangement of transportation for participating schools, tickets allocation and distribution, and provide on-site logistics support for all outreach activities;
  • To maintain a professional and updated database for the audience development and outreach programme;
  • To perform guest reception duties including but not limited to pick-up/drop-off guests at the airport/hotel; escort guests and speakers from hotel to cinemas for meet-the-audience sessions, and vice versa for guests attending Society’s Cine Fan programme and other ancillary programme from time to time;
  • To provide on-site support for Society’s events such as manning of reception desk, guests ticket redemption, and usher duty;
  • To prepare usable and accurate reports and analyses to the management from time to time; and
  • To manage the librarianship of news clippings;
  • To manage the librarianship of event photos and videos; and
  • To perform any other tasks as assigned by the management from time to time

 

Requirements:

  • University graduate or equivalent;
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant working experience;
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Putonghua will be an asset;
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
  • Good command of design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc. is an advantage;
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Mature, detail-oriented, self-motivated, multi-task and able to work under tight deadlines
  • Require to work outside normal office hours including full-day work on weekends and public holidays during certain periods  

 

Terms of Appointment

Successful candidate will be appointed on a full-time one-year contract. Renewal of contract will be subject to work performance, service need and availability of funding.
