Description

The position will be a member of the management team and a strategic business partner to the CEO and other business leaders. She/he will be involved in strategic planning, risk management and key decision making across the 3 businesses and 6-12 geographies for the Group.

The position has direct responsibilities for all back office functions including Finance (Accounting, Internal Controls, Taxation and Legal), HR and Administration, and will sit on top of all company secretary issues.

Detailed Responsibilities includes:

General Management:

_Strategic partnership with management team for short-term and long-term business planning, budgets, forecast and all key decision-making related to business growth and profitability

_Overview on company-wide internal controls (financial and the related)

Leadership:

_Develop stable, professional and effective back office teams that aligning with business objectives and development needs

_Work with other senior executive members to create, develop and maintain a company culture to attract and retain best people on all levels

Finance and Analysis

_Be responsible for all internal & external financial reports, internal & external audit

_Provide guidance on major accounting and tax treatments

_Leading role in annual budgeting, monthly forecast and variance financial analysis

_Maintain healthy relationship with relevant government officers, external auditors

_Provide financial advice in new project pitch strategy and pricing strategy, includes review of key quotations

_Financial analysis of business streams, structure and headcounts

Legal & Internal Controls

_Review key contract terms in dispute (together with company lawyers), and provide professional advices for jointly decision making with business leaders

_Identify and set up internal controls to shape risks and manage to eliminate/reduce risks

Legal & Internal Controls

_Improve internal controls in line with business development needs

Human Resources and Administration

_Provide guidance in day-to-day operation of HR & Admin department



Profile



_Minimum 12 years of experience and no less than 3 years in finance director or similar role

_Job experience in at least 2 industries (fast-growth service or PE a plus)

_Audit background 3-5 years preferred

_HKICPA or equivalent qualification

_Hands on experience in team set-up and team development

_a Strategic thinker and leader

_Well organised with excellent Problem Solving/Result Orientation

_Excellent Communication/interpersonal Skills
