Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for all statutory financial, tax, and legal entity reporting for the country
  • Manage cost, investments, mergers & acquisitions & legal structure in the country
  • Support General Manager and country management teams in business decision processes with focus on risk assessment, financial exposures and other financial issues
  • Act proactively as controller on strategy, business process and financial performance issues
  • Support management team and General Manager with business cases and analyses of key drivers on business/operations with recommendation of improvements
  • Take part in the development and implementation of strategies and Annual Activity Plan processes
  • Lead and develop the accounting department
  • Total responsible for all accounting, tax, statutory & management reporting and analysis
  • Identify efficiency drivers and drive process efficiency improvements in country operations
  • Ensure strong governance and process compliance in all internal processes
  • Develop routines, processes and system utilization to ensure improved quality and efficiencies in financial and operational processes    
  • Ensure good vendor management in line with company policy
  • Manage the budgeting/targeting process
  • Manage external and internal financial and tax audits
  • Responsible for up keeping good HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) practices as laid down by the company during your employment at all time

 

Mandatory requirements

  • University level (Bachelor degree) or higher in Business Administration/Finance/Economics
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a similar position
  • Very good command of written and spoken English
  • Good communication and cooperative skills
  • Systematic, analytical and accurate nature
  • Sound Business understanding
  • Skilled Excel user
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team
  • Ability to work and communicate on all levels in the organisation
  • Good understanding of common accounting principles
  • Knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS, Tax and Transfer Pricing issues
