A world-leading German MNC in the shipbuilding industry is now inviting a candidate with experience in shipbuilding industry to join their regional office in Hong Kong.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established world leading company in the shipbuilding sector. They have over 100 years of history and is now among the world's top industry player. Due to their growth in the APAC region, they are now inviting a high calibre Finance Manager to join their regional office in Hong Kong

Description
  • Report to Senior Finance Manager based in Hong Kong
  • All-rounded business control role to monitor shipbuilding sites financials in China and to submit report to Germany HQ
  • Review P&L, budget, forecast and variance analysis submitted by shipyards in China and report any findings to Germany HQ
  • To monitor profitability and maintain cost control for all production sites
  • To enhance internal control where necessary
  • Consolidate financial reports submitted by all shipbuilding production facilities
  • Liaise with Germany HQ as well as company secretary, external and internal auditors and other departments where necessary




Profile
  • Familiar with the shipbuilding industry or other heavy manufacturing industry
  • Experience with Germany firm will be an advantage
  • Qualified CPA preferred
  • Strong communication
  • Critical and logical thinking
  • Good teamplayer
  • Mature and able to be an individual contributor
