We are recruiting for one of our portfolio companies. Reporting to the Sr. Management, one of the main tasks of the Financial Controller is the preparation of the IPO exercise in the coming 12 months. You will review and evaluate current standard of the accounting system, process and deliveries to enhance internal control and business operations performance. You will provide analysis and prepare all necessary reports, as well as listing documents, and be the key contact with all external stakeholders (auditors, bankers, lawyers) to ensure a smooth transaction for a successful listing. You will ensure timely delivery of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, effective cost control and tax planning, and to ensure all in compliance with local statutory requirements. You will oversee daily accounting operations of HK headquarter. Occasional business travel (e.g. China and Macau) may be required.
The Successful Applicant will be a degree graduate and a Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACCA), preferably Big 4 / Audit trained, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. You should be proficient in spoken and written Cantonese, English, and Mandarin and you should possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Previous experience in IPO listing and fund raising activities is preferred; knowledge on Hong Kong Listing Rules, Takeover Codes and other related Regulatory Rules & Regulations is advantageous. Immediate availability is a plus. Qualified candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of finance manager/associate/analyst.
