Accountabilities:

  • Supervise back office team in providing exceptional services and overseeing the operations of all retail business units
  • Benchmark with the market for best practices and strive for operational excellence
  • Build effective partnerships with frontline departments to maximize overall performance
  • Ensure operational activities meet with and integrate with Group’s requirements for quality management, legal stipulations, corporate governance and internal control
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Attributes:

  • Degree holder in Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience in operations management of retail industry of which at least 5 years in senior management position, preferably in lifestyle or home products or consumable retail chain
  • Experience in managing sizable portfolio of retail chain stores
  • Must possess a track record of operational excellence in logistics, customer services, property leasing and central office collaboration
  • Analytically sharp and strong command of retail metrics and logic
  • Ability to lead effectively in a demanding, fast paced, team environment
  • Excellent organizational, customer services and time management skills
  • Must have substantial experience in development and growth of retail store chain
