Responsibilities:

  • Formulate the URA’s community development and stakeholder engagement strategy to foster public understanding of the URA’s efforts in urban renewal;
  • Collaborate with internal functions to plan and implement programmes and activities for local community to facilitate engagement of stakeholders for URA projects; and
  • Assist in market studies, political analysis and developing solutions to overcome problems and diffuse risks in URA projects
  • Establish a close working relationship with community leaders (LegCo and District Council), NGOs, local interest groups and opinion leaders to facilitate a smooth implementation of URA projects, and to protect the image of the URA through effective communication. 

Requirements: 

  • Degree holder in related discipline
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in community engagement or related areas, of which at least 8 years at a senior management level
  • Proven strong community network and be able to deal with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Strong management, leadership and team building skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with an excellent command of English and Chinese
  • Crisis management with experience in handling difficult crowd
