To meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving business environment, we are looking for a seasoned executive with accountability for the Council’s human resources and administration functions, thereby contributing to the effective promotion of HKPC’s mission and strategies.

Job Details:

 

  • Formulate, drive and implement reforms in remuneration system, talent attraction, development and retention strategies to continue strengthening the capabilities of HKPC in line with corporate mission and business development direction;
  • Devise and execute integrated HR strategies and management systems for effective performance and reward management to motivate staff for enhanced productivity;
  • Manage and develop staff communications and staff relations programmes to promote a collaborate corporate culture amongst staff and cross-divisions;
  • Lead, drive and manage the provision of facility renovation and maintenance services and enhancement works to support the operational requirements of the Council;
  • Effectively lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the human resources, facility management and administration, and safety and security teams with clear direction to ensure smooth operations;
  • Plan and drive effective HR and administration policies and practices to uphold the highest standard in corporate governance, compliances and statutory requirements;
  • Act as strategic partner and change agent in providing value-adding solutions on HR and administration related issues;
  • Effectively support and manage internal stakeholders to obtain buy-in and support during execution of HR and administration strategies and policies; and
  • Lead HR and administration functions for the Council’s subsidiaries both in and outside Hong Kong

 

Requirements about Applicants:

 

  • Master/Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent with at least 15 years’ relevant experience at a human resources management position gained largely with sizeable and/or multinational organizations;
  • Experienced strategic partner to senior management and internal stakeholders with successful track records in development and implementation of key HR strategies and initiatives;
  • Seasoned managerial professional, demonstrates leadership competencies with strong influencing, rational problem solving, planning and execution abilities;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, solid people and tasks management capabilities, innovative, attuned to working on and out of complex situations effectively;
  • Prior exposure to statutory body/government owned organizations preferred, and experience in managing building and facility management works an advantage; and
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua

A competitive pay package commensurate with qualifications and experience of candidates will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to the appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
