Headquartered in New Zealand and expanding into Asia, our client aims to develop creative and innovative solutions to improve the quality of technology for their customers and developed a range of products for various markets. With this first staff appointment in Asia, they are seeking for a high calibre business development professional to grow their business in Hong Kong & Macau to start with and with strong growth opportunity in to Asia.
Reporting to the CEO directly, you will be responsible for identifying prospects, generating business leads and developing business strategies aimed at achieving business outcomes. With successful local business track record, you are expected to continue building strong rapport with existing clients yet cultivating new business relationship, understanding market needs through customer engagement and offering right technology/product solutions to clients. Your clients are senior executives like GM, COO, CIO, CTO. You will also be working closely with head office on updating business pipeline, recommending business strategies, providing market insights and strategic advice to senior management about business growth.
The ideal candidate should be a degree holder in Business, Marketing or a related discipline, with at least 10 years’ experience in business development, partnership and account management, with strong network in hospitality sector. Candidates from technology, security software/hardware solutions and/or self-service kiosks solutions companies targeting hospitality sector are highly regarded. You are driven, influential, self-motivated and someone with strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit. Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills is essential to the success of this role. Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory.
