Due to their rapid expansion, they are now inviting a high caliber to join the Marketing team, with a focus on communications and digital area.

Based in Hong Kong the Social Media & Communications Manager is responsible for developing, creating and managing the brand voice across all channels.


Role & Responsibilities:

Planning & Market Research
  • Develop annual social strategy
  • Conduct periodic competitive audits


Communications
  • Developing conversations with a growing community & proactively interact with online communities across all platforms
  • Manage agencies to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Manage communication and content including application process & accountability for the daily operations of the fund
  • Actively increase KOL contacts and manage KOL program
  • Respond and follow up on media enquiries as required
  • Tracking, reporting and course correction as required




Content
  • Manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimised for search and user experience for all channels and for each buyer persona
  • Use social media monitoring tools to monitor conversations and reports on metrics and course correction as required
  • Write digital marketing brief - newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels and manage day-to-day editorial content
  • Create all digital copy content
  • Provide feedback to other contributors, and edit other writers' content.
  • Recommend content types to deliver increased engagement and supports brand's goal and objectives
  • Integrate appropriate content activities within traditional marketing campaigns
  • Ensure consistent global experience and implement appropriate localisation/translation strategies
  • Implement content plan across owned platforms (social, web, blog, newsletters) - responsible for the maintenance and update of existing content as per agreed timings / content calendar
  • Implement consumer promotions and competitions including development of T&Cs, briefing designers, to execute on time and to budget
  • Monitor and respond to customer feedback across social media channels, escalate any major complaints
  • Update social guidelines as required and implement both internally and with our distributor partners




Marketing General
  • Manage all project to approved budgets and timelines




Skills/experience
  • 5+ years' brand/marketing experience either in-house or within an agency
  • Degree holder in marketing/communications or related discipline
  • Experience in managing brand communication and content planning, particularly across owned channels
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational skills, and exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform decisions
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Ability to work autonomously and under tight timeframes.
  • Native English speaker
