Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of the bank-wide new projects (e.g. Process Bank initiatives) along with external consultancy and concerned business functions, to provide full support to the success of the projects, including formulating solutions, planning, scheduling, monitoring and implementation etc.
  • Lead the department to facilitate and coordinate with different functional teams and vendors to deliver the necessary documents for the development of new application systems and/or system enhancements
  • Initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on increased productivity and reduced cost
  • Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements
  • Specialize in business process analysis and re-engineering, change management and measurement, process-driven systems requirements
  • Collaborate with concerned stakeholders within or across departments to ensure the business process capability is understood, adopted and supported
  • Work with end-users to develop/perform business justification, cost/benefit analysis, system deployment strategy to cope with the business and obtain budget approval for new systems
  • Work with end-user to drive user activities in system development life cycle, produce necessary documentation according to Bank’s standard
  • Contribute to the design of procedural documentations, systems operation guidelines and manuals etc.
  • Keep abreast of the market, suggest and propose new business initiatives

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Operation Management, Information Technology, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Minimum 15 years’ working experience in managing & delivering process development / improvement projects, preferably gained in banking industry
  • Certificate holder of Project Management Professional is preferred
  • Good understandings in both the business opportunities and preferably technical aspects of system platform
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to facilitate and run projects independently
  • Highly collaborative, self-motivated with creative thinking mindset
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
