General Function

The incumbent will be responsible for the general HR functions with the focus in recruiting and staffing, HR training programs, employee relations and performance management. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Fully responsible for recruitment and hiring in Hong Kong and other regions with no local HR team: sourcing candidates through various channels, conducting behavioral interviews, reference checking and candidate offering process; perform hiring statistic analysis and hiring status reports administration
  • Conduct new hire orientation and other HR-related training programs
  • Perform in depth exit interviews; monitor and respond to turnover analysis
  • Handle work visa administration in Hong Kong office
  • Regularly update HR SharePoint site and manage employee information communication
  • Prepare Asia Pacific headcount budget forecast and HR departmental expense forecast on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Support employees, supervisors and managers in the performance assessment and evaluation process
  • Provide customer service to frequently asked employee questions
  • Stay up-to-date and ensure compliance in labor laws and regulations
  • Support ad-hoc projects assigned by supervisor 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • At least five years’ experience in HR functions at multinational company; experience in the semiconductor industry throughout Asia Pacific region a plus
  • Have exposure and sound knowledge of labor laws and human resource practices throughout Asia Pacific region
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English, Putonghua and Cantonese
  • Sound knowledge in MS Office and HRIS
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
